Ruben Ovadia, DDS, MS
Dr. Ovadia was born and raised in Mexico City. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Science degree from the Universidad Tecnologica of Mexico and graduated Summa Cum Laude at the Top of his class in 2006. He completed a General Practice Residency at the National Institute of Perinatology and then pursued his postgraduate training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts and received his certificate in Periodontics as well as a Master of Science degree. He is a Board Certified Periodontist and Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Ovadia has presented his clinical work and research about topics related to Oral Medicine and Periodontal Disease both nationally and internationally in Europe and Asia. He is an active member of many professional associations and has written several articles in scientific journals and publications. He has a passion for learning and teaching and participates in hundreds of continuing education hours every year. Currently, he maintains a private practice limited to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Dallas.
Dr. Ovadia joined Dr. Tanur in 2010 to create “Periodontal Associates”, where they look forward to serving you by providing personalized care to help you achieve your goals of health, function, and esthetics in a comfortable environment.
Dr. Ovadia is happily married to Dr. Nilly Borovoy, who is a Pediatric Dentist and currently serves on the faculty at the Baylor College of Dentistry.
